EcoGeos serves static pages and local images and styles, using system fonts. The website code uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Contact takes place by email; the site has no forms, user accounts, newsletters or embedded social content.
Hosting and technical records

When a page is requested, the hosting service processes technical connection data. This may include the IP address, access time, requested file, data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system.
These data support reliable delivery, troubleshooting and protection against attacks or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest in providing and securing the website. The hosting provider processes the technical data as part of the hosting service.

Email contact
When you email me, I process your email address, message and information you provide to respond to your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contract-related communication; Article 6(1)(f) applies to other enquiries, based on the legitimate interest in responding to them.
Enquiry data are deleted once the matter is resolved and applicable retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for keeping them have ended.
Amazon and other external links
Amazon links include the publisher tag that allows Amazon to attribute qualifying purchases and commissions. When you follow a link, the destination service processes data under its own privacy policy. This also applies to links to source websites.
